State FFA Degree

The State FFA Degree recognizes Idaho FFA members who set goals in leadership, community service and FFA involvement. This degree signifies that a member has gone above and beyond involvement and stepped forward as a leader.

Annually, only 6% of Idaho FFA members will receive the State FFA Degree.

To peers this achievement is seen as noteworthy, and to employers it signifies dedication and commitment to personal growth within the three circle model of agricultural education.

A State FFA Degree is an attainable goal for every Idaho FFA member! Members should pay special attention to ensure their AFNR course enrollment is maintained throughout high school, their FFA membership is renewed annually, and that they are working towards the requirements for capital, hours worked, SAE involvement, and community service.

Knowledge Exams & Study Guides

There are TWO exams required for the Idaho State FFA Degree. One is about FFA knowledge, and the other covers parliamentary procedure. These exams will be administered through The AET. Apply for your state degree

Idaho FFA members apply for the State FFA Degree through the AET website using their log-in credentials. Applications are due early in the year with record keeping eligibility ending December 31st the year before a member applies. Once the degree application is complete, members notify their chapter FFA advisor who then helps ensure the application is submitted to the state level.
