FFA Facts & History
The Idaho FFA Constitution and Bylaws is a document that sets the precedence for our association. Because the FFA is a student run organization, members have the opportunity to serve as a delegate and can amend the constitution and bylaws.
Idaho FFA currently has 5,018 members and 95 FFA chapters with 136 FFA advisors.
In 2018, 313 Idaho FFA members received their State FFA Degree.

The Idaho FFA Association holds State Charter No. 17 in the National Organization. It was issued on September 4, 1929.
Malad was the first chapter chartered in the Idaho FFA Association.
The first State President of the Idaho FFA Association was Rodney Hansen, from Firth, in 1929‐1930.
Idaho’s first State FFA Advisor was William Kerr.
Idaho’s first American FFA Degree recipient was Carrol Baker, from Twin Falls, in 1928.
Ten FFA members received their Idaho State FFA Degree the first year it was issued in 1930.
